Our restaurant in Fischen is led by head chef Roland Sollacher and his international team, masters of their craft who love to think outside the box. The Allgäu provides the foundation, with mainly seasonal, fresh regional produce and a fine sense of quality and the flavours of home. To this we add influences, spices and techniques from all over the world, bringing new accents to the plate without losing what feels familiar. This fusion cuisine keeps our menu exciting and full of surprises.

Your morning begins with a generous breakfast buffet. Crisp, fragrant Bioland rolls, sweet treats such as croissants, fruit quark and a muesli station, plus savoury choices like cheese, cold cuts and fresh vegetable sticks are all ready and waiting. Fancy an omelette, scrambled or fried eggs? At the live cooking station, egg dishes are freshly prepared right before your eyes, exactly as you like them.

After a morning out exploring or your first wellness moments of the day, a little pick-me-up is just what many guests are looking for. Alongside cakes and sweet treats, the afternoon snack also includes a savoury selection: a small salad buffet plus a soup and a hot or cold main dish that change daily, with vegetarian options too.

In the evening, we alternate between a 5-course menu on some days and a generous, varied buffet on others. With the menu, you can choose between fish, meat or a vegetarian main course. The buffet showcases the full range of our kitchen, with hot and cold dishes, fresh salads and delicate desserts. Both follow the same philosophy: high-quality ingredients, careful preparation and pure, unhurried enjoyment.
On selected evenings, the restaurant shines in candlelight for an elegant gala dinner. It’s precisely this blend of variety, depth and culinary creativity that our guests enthuse about time and again.

Favourite spots with a view

At the Tanneck, the restaurant is spread across three different spaces. In the Tanneckstube, elegant parlour charm, Swiss pine wood and a traditional tiled stove create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This cosy room is also where guests with dogs are welcome to dine. The Alpine restaurant with gallery opens the space outwards; large windows bring the mountain panorama right to your table and add the perfect visual finishing touch to your meal. A secret guest favourite is our indoor beer garden, with its modern take on Bavarian tavern flair and a real brewing kettle beneath a chestnut tree. Above you, the ceiling changes colour throughout the day, giving the room a constantly shifting mood. Wonderfully cosy!
In fine or warm weather, the panorama terraces bring you that little bit closer to the Allgäu peaks.

Tanneck wine lounge

Our wine list features distinctive wines: well-known names alongside special discoveries you might not expect to find here at first glance. All carefully selected and put together. Once a week, we taste them together. At the long table, fine wines from the cellar are poured, accompanied by the expertise of your host or our restaurant manager, Carsten Bauch. They share their passion for wines and winemakers – and could happily spend hours telling you stories and fascinating facts about them. The wine tasting can be booked at reception for an additional charge. By the way: You can also organise candlelit dinners in the wine cellar – peaceful, intimate and romantic.
