Nature is ever-present at the Tanneck. The mountain views, the clear air, the tranquillity, the produce from the Allgäu. All this has shaped everyday life in our hotel for over 90 years. This gives us a clear responsibility towards this special place, which is well worth protecting. When the house, built in 1935, was passed on within the family to the third generation in 2006, this very responsibility was consciously embraced once again. Since then, we have been developing the Tanneck step by step, making sustainable decisions that consider tomorrow just as much as the here and now.
For 20 years now, we have been implementing a wide range of measures to save energy, conserve resources and reduce emissions. And we will continue on this path in the future. So that our wonderful surroundings remain vibrant and healthy for as long as possible.
Our kitchen is supported by long-standing partners from the Allgäu and the surrounding region – people who practise their craft with experience, care and genuine conviction. Producers who know exactly where their products come from and where they are going. Working with them shapes the flavours at the Tanneck just as much as our respectful approach to nature and food.
