Ski holidays in the Allgäu

Winter in the Allgäu offers many ways to be active outdoors. Right in front of the Tanneck you can hop on a sledge and whizz down the hill, or try your very first turns on skis in the snow.
In the surrounding ski areas, just 10 to a maximum of 45 minutes by car from the hotel, blue, red and black runs combine for maximum downhill fun. Cross-country skiing has also been growing in popularity in the Allgäu for years. No wonder – you simply can’t get enough of the incredible mountain panorama that accompanies cross-country skiers, whether skating or classic, wherever they go.

Winter sports at the Tanneck come without detours:

  • small, snow-covered Stinesser slope with gentle run – ideal for first turns and test runs
  • children’s lift and magic carpet
  • ski school and children’s ski school with full-day supervision
  • natural toboggan slope right by the hotel (with night tobogganing)
  • daytime use of the Stinesser ski slope and toboggan run free of charge with the AllgäuWalserPass

Cross-country skiing fans can also get going straight away. In just a few minutes on foot you’ll reach the Maderhalm–Oberdorf loop, Fischen’s highest cross-country trail. The loop is 6 kilometres long and leads through open winter countryside above Fischen.
