In the mountains, people greet each other with "Servus"

Hiking holidays in the Allgäu

After breakfast, slip quickly into your shoes, shoulder your rucksack – jacket or no jacket? A quick glance at the sky to check the weather or a short stop at our reception will help you decide.
The loveliest and most varied hikes start right outside the Tanneck. Down in the valley, the paths are wide and peaceful. Higher up, they wind their way over green slopes, past meadows and forests. One level higher still, the alpine terrain begins, with steeper gradients and narrower trails. These three levels – river valley, green heights, alpine mountains – define hiking in Fischen in the Allgäu and make a hiking holiday in the Allgäu so incredibly wonderful and diverse.

The hiking trails in the Allgäu are wonderfully diverse. Among the best-known are the Hinanger waterfalls and the Tiefenberger Moor. Both are set in different landscapes and follow clearly marked paths.
Alpine tours lead you via the Gaisalpe and the Rubihorn towards the Nebelhorn or Fellhorn, with more elevation gain and longer distances.
Hiking in Fischen never feels monotonous: routes, elevation profiles and landscapes are constantly changing, turning every hike into an impressive nature experience.
